Hi first time on these forums and would like abit of help!

When I load up my computer I get this Message -

title: MemCheck.exe - Common Language Runtime Debuggung Services

body: Application has generated an exception that could not be handled.

Process id=0x9a8 (2472), Thread id=0x99c (2469)

Click OK to terminate application
Click CANCEL to debug application

Now I have tried the cancel to debug but it says I have no debugging device - can anyone tell me how to fix this or if this program is essential? Help!!

Thanks in advance

I believe the debugging device is part of your Windows installation.

memcheck.exe Information
This is a valid program that is required to run at startup.

This program is required to run on startup in order to benefit from its functionality or so that the program will work. The following information is a brief description of what is known about this file. If you require further assistance for this file, feel free to ask about in the forums.

Name: Fix-it AV
Filename: memcheck.exe
Command: Unknown at this time.
Description: Part of Ontrack's Fix-it Utilities Suite anti-virus. Performs a quick check of memory for signs of any virus. Exits afterward and returns all resources used in one user's experience. Not required but could be left without a drain on resources

Did you have Fix-It Av on your computer and try to uninstall it or is it still on your computer?

If you have another av program you need to delete it or fix it if you do not.
