Anyone Know Of Sdnmon.exe?

I googled it to find out if I needed it or not, but all I was able to find were pages of people trying to figure out what it was. Anyone have any clue?

It is part of Symantec.

C:\PROGRAMME\SYMNETDRV\SNDMon.exe

the best I can find is it is part of Symantec live update.
SNDMon.exe It's full name is Symantec Security Drivers Install Monitor
It appears to be safe,tho' Im not certain. From what I've read it caused problems for some people. It appeared after running an update to Norton AV
