Hi,

I'm just installing various things on my new PC, and have come across osCheck in the start up items in msconfig. The command is from "C:\Program Files\Norton Internet Security\osCheck.exe", so I would assume it is genuine, but it isn't on your start up list.

Also, jusched is suggested to be something unwanted, but it is actually in the Java folder within program files. Does this need correcting on your start up list?

Not sure what oscheck.exe is unfortunatly. What does the line in msconfig say. The item? command? location?

Also jusched is not needed as it not necessary to run and just uses up resources on the computer.

The command is in my 1st post for oscheck.exe. It appears to be genuine as it's from Norton Internet Security, but I just wanted to make sure by checking with this website.

I have to go away for a couple of days on business, but will do this on Monday. How do I "submit" it, or are instructions on the link you gave? Many thanks.

Got it....and added to the startup database. I would disable it in msconfig. If it causes no problems, leave it disabled.
