I don't believe the Recycle Bin can be removed, without editing the Registry.

Hi Learner87,
to BC
You can remove the recycle bin by using one of Microsoft's powertoys. TweakUI is a small application that opens up hundreds of otherwise unavailable options in Windows. This "toy" is anything but a toy. It is something that Microsoft should have put into Windows XP in the first place.
Download TweakUI here:
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/downloa...ppowertoys.mspx
To remove your recycle bin from your desktop simply install the software, open it, select Desktop and remove the check mark from the recycle bin then click apply. Goodbye recycle bin, to restore it just recheck the recycle bin box.
Have fun

It should be pointed out to anyone else interested in doing this, that will hide all of your desktop icons.
I didn't know you wanted to remove, all of them.
