Hi all My problem is Microsoft Defender wont let me download it. When I try it starts to download then a box appears saying windows installer, on the box is written the feature you are trying to install is on a CD-Rom or other removable disc that is not available, insert windows defender disc & & click ok? I do hope someone can help me out. Thank you.

Do you have SP2 installed?

If so, do your Windows Updates work?

If they do not and you are getting error 0x8024001D and have SP2:

Go to the following site using Windows Explorer and download the following:
http://www.fermu.com/component/option,com_...o/id,7/lang,us/

WU_ 0x8024001D.cmd

When it downloads, click on it to have it self install.
