Problem With Loading Mcafee Anti Virus

I am giving an old PC to my mother in law. The PC has a good amount of software except anti virus. I deleted the norton corporate anti virus to avoild a licensing problems. I purchased Mcafee antivirus, anti spy and firewall. When I load the program I indicate that I do not want the mcafee firewall program. I just want the anti virus. The problem is the anti virus will program will not install since it conflict with my Zone alarm firewall.

Why is this happening ? The ZA product does not contain an anti virus product.

How can I load Mcafee anti virus with ZA firewall ?

Try this: Uninstall the ZoneAlarm firewall, then install the McAfee disabling the McAfee firewall if you have that option, then reinstall ZoneAlarm firewall. Some folks have had success in solving program installation conflicts that way.
