Acting on your advise I installed SpyBot to help me find malfunctions and bad programs. However when I use it something weird happens. It finds something called "Mailbot" and a window opens telling me it has detected a system service identified as a threat: "i386p" and sas it has been shut down. When I click OK SpyBot resumes for a second and the becomes non responsive. I have to close it down via task maneger.

I have tried to reinstall several times and also tried not to install all the updates but with the same problem.
Has anyone else had this problem??

Thanks

Have you tried scanning with Spybot in Safe Mode?

Oh bleep!

After using House Call and it found some infections I thougt I should use it again but now it starts with "hc.applet.implementation started" and stays there.

So I canīt get a scan from SpyBot and I canīt get a scan from Housecall and my Google is still hijacked.

Canīt someone help a desperate man?
