I've had RC1 installed for over a day now and have found the following issues with it:

1) My Marvell Yukon NIC card isn't setup properly. I had no connection to the network until I went to the Advanced tab of the Properties dialog and disabled the 6 items that have IPv4 or IPv6 in their description (probably overkill - but it works!)

2) The installation didn't recognize my network, but still claimed it was connected to the web. IE reported that it was offline, yet I was able to connect to the Vista newsgroups (but couldn't go any further). This was probably related to the first issue.

3) Windows Explorer continually crashes on bootup. After wading through the problem solving/reporting process I get the message that no solution is available. Then explorer.exe restarts and all is well.

4) I got a lockup (Not Responding) of the Import Favorites for IE7 when importing from my WinXP Firefox profile (same hard drive, different partition). After waiting forever for it to respond I killed it - then the "Successfully completed" dialog popped up and everything was fine.

It's still a Beta - what can I say?

I would like to add to that....

If you have a U3 Flash drive don't expect the U3 Launcher to work not even after tinkering with the different compatibility modes.

Having some difficulties with a network at the moment. Limited connectivity to network. Worked great before but now nothing. Requires some further tinkering here...

A few Explorer crashes, Adobe Reader & Google Earth both take approx 10 mins to install and uninstal each.
