I have four PCs and on three of them I use Mcafee anti virus provided by my ISP.

On the fourth PC, I use Norton Corporate anti virus. Since I occasionaly work from home my company requires that we have NCAV on our personal PCs. The company logon program runa a check to make sure we have the latest edition NCAV before the logon to the corporate system is allowed.

I am not a big fan of NCAV. Can I load the Mcafee on this PC and have NCAV in de active mode until I need it.

Thanks

Tom

The way you describe it? In a word, Yes. Two AV's real time is not a good thing. However as long as one is deactivated they may both reside. The conflict is when both are active and they see one anothers definitions as virii. hth

Be (Active AV's) Safe
