Game.exe im having trouble with this

I have been trying to play jetfighter 5 for awhile and when i try to open it on my computer a screen keeps poping up saying," Game.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close" and then asks me if I want to send an error report then closes the game.So first of all what is Game.exe and if my graphics or sound card are outdated would I get this message. My sound card is intel82801ba/bam ac97'
my video card is 82815 graphics
