Hi,
I hope someone can help me with this, I have an Acer TravelMate 4600, when I use the wi-fi it connects ok at first but then drops to 1 or 2 Mbps then sometimes no connectivity.

If I right click and click repair it goes back up to 54 Mbps but then drops down again very quickly.

I have been to the Acer site and instaled a new driver but it's no better.

It's not that big a deal mostly but when using Skype it drops the call.

Any suggestions?

Yes, I've recently been on here and had it sorted.

I have new anti virus and as far as I know i'm clean.

It seems sometimes that when I have a connection, either the hard disk or the fan, I can't tell which, starts spinning and the connection is lost.
