Chipset Noob Question

Chipset Noob Question, Difference in Chipsets?

What makes a Nvidia Nforce 570 chipset better than the Nforce 4 chipset? Or perhaps other noname chipsets that just talk about northbridge and southbridge bus's? Thanks in advance everyone.
