I have recently taken up collecting wall plate hangings and similar items that take my fancy. Some of the items are-

A 1960's Brownie Downing 'picannini' here

A 1920's scene of my main street Posted Image

An Italian inlaid dish Posted Image

And today, an inlaid wall hanging hand carved in India from a solid sheet of marble Posted Image

What do others collect??

Cheers

Those are beautiful pieces rowal5555! My favorite is the hand carved one from India.
I am a Quilter by trade so I guess that makes me a "Fabriholic",because I collect fabric.

Well, as of now i don't really have a collection of anything, but i'm trying to start a collection of mountain dew bottles/cans. I'm a dew freak, and know that if enough time passes, bottles and cans could be worth a mountain of money.

Also, i'm collecting titles of games i've played for the ps2 before. I'm not actually collecting the games, but only keeping a list of those i've rented/borrowed/bought. As of right now, i'm up to 219...

Hello,

I've recently started collecting things to do with poker. Decks of cards, poker chips, keychains, clocks, plates, coasters, hats, cups, etc....

I just can't get enough of Texas Hold'Em. I've finally found my true love

Yes, that Indian marble definitely looks the most appealing to me too. The best of luck to you in finding new pieces for your collection.

I collect those state quarters that they have been making.

It started in 1999 and ends in 2008.

I've got all the ones that have come out so far, and I have this cool map with a spot for the quarter of each state on it.

Can't wait till i'ts all finished!

I do too!!!

However, I also save my old movie ticket stubs. I don't know why. *shrugs* I keep them in a mini chest at home. :flowers: Its fun to get them out and look at all of the movies I have seen over the years.
