What version of Ad-aware are you using?
Does it always do this, or is this the first time? Are you behind a proxyserver? QUOTE I am behind a proxyserver and keep receiving error messages when I attempt to update my definition file in Ad-Aware SE. What is your adress to the update server, so that we can allow this in our proxy? Ad-aware FAQ
We use two different servers depending on the version of Ad-Aware being run: Ad-Aware SE Personal (freeware): "updates.ls-servers.com" Ad-Aware SE Plus/Pro: "download.lavasoft.de.edgesuite.net" -------------------- I love being married.

Yes, behind proxy server. Always does this, never been able to update. |

You can also manually download the update from here and extract them to your Ad-aware folder. How to manually update Ad-aware.
