I will be buying my laptop soon and right now I am really looking into the Dell Inspiron 6400... I like it because it has a gig of ram, 120gig hardrive and you can upgrade to a ATI Mobility X1400 for only 100$ more... My total config comes out to 1200$CAD plus tax... So around 1300CAD?

What do you guys think?

Have any of you had bad experiences with Dell?

I know that Dell customer service took a dive once they moved it overseas but is it still fairly good?

Read epinions on google. Just type in " Dell Inspiron 6400 reviews" and you will find all you need.

Ok thanks...

I called there today and man are they ever aggressive. I started out by saying "Hi" then I said I am only calling for information on a few things I don't want to buy...

And then he started getting on me with my name and stuff and my SIN to run a credit check... I'M 16!!! Dude... they will never approve me for credit on a 1200 dollar computer...

BTW his name is Naveen... Is that in India or something... and man you really got to talk slowly with those people... I barely understood a word he said and since I live in Quebec. My street name is all french and is 14 characters long wich I have to say each one so he can type it into his computer... And now he wants to call back to sell me a computer... I just want to be left alone...

Anyways that is my story today, had to get it off my chest.

Any other opinions from you guys?
