Prior post on this forum--have bought extra memory and now looking for sound card

How much should I pay for a sound card? What kind?--I don't need the very best--just a reliable one??

I decent sound card will run you ~$50-60, speaker sets (5.1) will add about the same price to it. IMHO your computer does not need "top of the line", but you certainly go that route, and if you get another computer, you can always put it in there.
