I just installed my new DVD drive. Windows detected and installed it automatically, it came with no software form newegg. I try to play DVD movies and the programs wont read them. I s there some sort of codec I can download or something?

What software are you using to play the DVD? Windows Media Player?

I believe it was called Sonic Software, something along thoses lines.
