High Frequency

Hi, i have just installed a game and it meets all the requirements of my computer which is xp. Everything is fine until i click play and then the message high frequency is display but i can still hear the game playing sound only in the background.
Hope someone can help please

Whats the refresh rate (and limit) on your monitor?

The high frequency is that your monitor can't support the refresh rate that the game looks to be trying to set it at. The game can still run but your monitor doesn't support that refresh rate and can't show any of the images.

there is also a thread similar to this already though it might not be too helpful other than condensing two threads to one.
