I have Yahoo and MSN Messengers but I use Yahoo more. I have become more conscious of security and I was before a raving paranoid. So I am trying to get my friends to download

TrilogyEC

TrilogyEC Pro.
QUOTE
The TrilogyEC communication platform is "server-less", which means that your TrilogyEC information does not pass through or reside on a server.

Zone Labs Internet Security Suite encrypts IM if both people have it. I'll keep Yahoo and MSN, but for private I will use TrilogyEC Pro if I can get my family and friends to use it. Folk resist change out of just not wanting to change. I figure that if MSN and Yahoo work together they may be less secure.

Hello! chish here from Ontario, Canada.

I luv'd the idea of the x-over msngr and d/l'd it 2/3 wks ago. Ever since that time I have had many LSASS & DCOM exploit attacks on my computers. Not good at all! Now I'm looking to close the hole. And the thing is, I d/l'd 'beta' - I never d/l beta I always wait till the bugs are out. Once bitten twice shy! hysterical.gif

I haven't used any Instant Messenger in years (all my friends bailed sad.gif ) but I think this is a good idea. Now people don't have to hound their friends to use their IM client, because the other one is incompatible. tongue.gif

welcome.gif chishnfips!!! If you are having trouble with those exploits, then this is the place to fix them!!! thumbup.gif

lol thanks.....who ever it is went nuts tonight trying to exploit me! lol

I posted somewhere else what it was...LSASS and DCOM exploit attacks, they all get blocked but it's a bloody nuisance! I've hunted around and it seems someone tracked it coming out of Germany. I did a trace and got nada! Thinking this person/s is bouncing all over the place to do it. You are more than welcome to help me get them off my back and/or find the bleeps. lol Here's my fun of tonight:

Switching servers, id's, kinda cute! started with the new msngr, like i said before, never had this going on, ever! and I have had my puters running smoothly, free of everything for 10yrs. What I hate most, is the bloody time I have to spend checking everything out, unplugging, running diagnostics, etc. Grrrr!

Now if only they would combine AIM then they would be the biggest ever! But of course Microsoft and AOL wouldn't combine... or would they?
