Hi joyjg
Your log looks good, but let's run one online scan to be sure: Please do an online scan with Kaspersky Online Scanner. You will be prompted to install an ActiveX component from Kaspersky, Click Yes.

Thanks for the response. I ran the Kaspersky online scanner which showed 1 virus as it was running, however I left for a while and when I came back the Kaspersky screen was gone so I could not do the save text. My McAfee came up and decided it finally saw the virus at this point, a downloader AWS something and I let it fix it in the hopes that the Kaspersky screen would reappear after that. Still didn't. As you said the Kaspersky scan was very long, and I walked out of the room at about 75%, came back and no Kaspersky. Do I have to be present at the end of the scan? I assumed it would hold the screen until I chose something. Appreciate any direction. Joy

Hi
Did you minimize browser window during scan? That might explain it. -------------------- Microsoft MVP Consumer Security

Hi
Download the Killbox. Unzip it to the desktop Double-click Killbox.exe to run it. Select "Delete on Reboot". Place the following line (complete path) in bold in the "Full Path of File to Delete" box in Killbox: C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\Local Settings\Temp\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5\A112BYP4\popup[1].htm Put a mark next to "Delete on Reboot" Click the red-and-white "Delete File" button. Click "Yes" at the Delete on Reboot prompt. Click "No" at the Pending Operations prompt. If your computer does not restart automatically, please restart it manually. Empty this folder -> C:\!KillBox Re-scan with kaspersky Re-scan with kaspersky Send kaspersky report. Do you still have problems? -------------------- Microsoft MVP Consumer Security
