Firefox, is a free download.

It's a good idea to have more than one browser. Most "attacks", such as viruses and spyware, will usually leave IE (Internet Explorer) inoperable. If this happens, you will not be able to get on the internet to try to find a solution to your problems.

You can use as many browsers as you want. I use FIREFOX by MOZILLA. It's a more secure browser than IE, which makes it less vulnerable to attacks, and it's FREE. FIREFOX is a stripped down version of MOZILLA (which is also FREE). It doesn't have a mail client or chat like MOZILLA. This makes it a fast browser. It also supports tabbed browsing and has a built in pop-up blocker.
Once you get used to using it, you'll never go back to IE. The only thing I use IE for, is to get my WINDOWS UPDATES (you need it for that).

If you need any help with setting it up, just ask.
