Locked Up When Purging Ie >tools >history Why am i locking up when trying to purge History

I've gotten to purging all my cookies, internet files and history every time we log in. Recently, I've been locking up when trying to purge the History - little hourglass just sits there.
Symantec says I'm OK, but has anyone else experienced this?

Try it from Safe Mode to see if that helps.

(I always use the F8 method)
