Hi guys Been looking at some, not all tutorials and please to forgive if i,ve missed one on the above topic, but as a newbee, i sometimes struggle to understand the concepts of gigabytes, kilobytes etc, how i would know if i have lots of memory left on my pc, or what constitutes a need to upgrade. I feel a little bit lost in this area and a little foolish. If their already exists info on this then please to forgive and just discard my post. keep up the good work guys!! Ps. Is their a tutorial on how to input more memory into your pc ? or is that a ,job for the professionals am awash with all sorts of questions, sorry guys if you do,nt ask you wo,nt find out!!!! I must be feeling comfortable on this forum to ask such dumb questions!! boy was that along ps!! Yours lizbeth |

Elo lizbeth
Not sure if a tutorial exists for putting more memory in As for memory (I had a peek at your profile anyway as us blokes say Size matters (subtle play on words) 8 bits are equal to 1 byte. 1,024 bytes are equal to 1 kilobyte (KB). 1,024 kilobytes (KB) are equal to 1 megabyte (MB or Meg) 1,024 megabytes are equal to 1 gigabyte (GB or Gig) 1,024 gigabytes are equal to 1 terabyte. (TB) as you can see 1GB is NOT 1000MB it is 1024MB Simple Huh -------------------- |
