Thanks for your quick answer! I don't know where or what a command prompt is. I went to start,run and typed in help and something jumped on the screen for a split second.

Click on start, then run, and type in cmd and press the ok button. That is the command prompt. You need to type all commands that you want to execute followed by the enter. To leave the command prompt you type exit and then enter.

CMD works like a charm!! THANKS AGAIN Grinler. Some day I hope to learn what to do with this. Is there a book or something that can help me.

Can the CMD prompt be used in safe mode and would it be any help?

Yes, the CMD prompt can be used in Safe Mode and it is helpful in some cases.

umm whts the cmd for windows built in anti virus? i hv tried
 win avp.exe
from the cmd promt...but funny thing nuthing happened...even no error msg for it..... anywayz.... thnx in advance :thumbsup:
