It may be a hardware problem or hopefully just corrupted drivers.
Open your device manager and see if you have any red or yellow warning icons on any of the usb hubs or devices. If so, delete everything that has such an icon, reboot and let Windows find it and reinstall it. If that doesn't cure it you may have hardware problems. |
