Can somebody out there PLEASE help me? I've been on numerous sites and no one seems to be able to help me! Here's my problem:

I saved a DVD to my hard drive using Sonic MyDVD Plus. It saved the DVD footage as a "Global Image File"
but when I try to pull it up to edit it, it says that it doesn't recognize that file type, even though it's a default of Sonic media. How do I convert the video file type?

OR -- how do I save the DVD to my hard drive using Windows Media where I can edit it?

OR -- to Quick Time?

I don't care what venue I use, I just want to edit the stupid DVD!

And advice?

(Moderator edit: post moved to more appropriate forum, subtitle expanded for clarification. jgweed)

Ummm, this might be an obvious question, but have you tried the product support for Sonic MyDVD Plus?

Yes, I did try support from Sonic, but it got me nowhere.
