Posted Image When posting a log please put the type of infection you have in the topic title. IE: Winfixer, Virtumonde, WinTools, WebSearch, Home Search Assistant, etc.

i have been trying for the past 2 days to get rid of newdotnet that loads on boot up, not sure as to how to get rid of it and it would be great if some one can explain to me how to get rid of it,,,,,,, thanks,,,,,, mark

Hello,

Go to your controlpanel > software > add/remove programs and look if NewDotNet is present and choose to uninstall.
If not present, look if there's an uninstaller in the folder: Program Files\NewDotNet.
That uninstaller will be labeled uninstallX_XX.exe. (“X” represents the version number of the uninstaller.
If not present there too, look if it's in your C:\Windows. It will be labeled NDNuninstallX_XX.exe.
If still not present, use the following one:

http://www.new.net/support/uninstall6_90.exe

Reboot afterwards and post a new hijackthislog.
