I want to apologize for not acknowledging your reply to what I said about my experience as a child. I don't know why I didn't because I was very touched.

I certainly think that MissPlaced has shown us the way to really get a Discussion/Debate going here and it is wonderful to see. The important thing is to respect others opinions, even if they do not agree with yours? She has stated many times that when confronted with a different view to her's, she will just sit back and think about it.

In a Discussion/Debate there are no real Winners, only those that act like she does. Considers each Post on their Merits and does not fall into the trap of trying to put preconceived ideas into place.

I believe that groovicus and I certainly fit within this and if I have offended anyone I certainly apologise, but, really I just want to know some Truth, as I am sure many others do.

Hmmm...............life after death is so true, some people ( 3rd eyed ones) can see some spirits roaming around, those are souls that cannot seek peace and harmony on the other end of there life. Some are not yet contented on what they have done here on earth and when they die they still wanna finish some things that they wanted to finish and it is so hard to see them roaming around.

I belief there is life after the dead, indeed!
Also do I believe, that when you're dead, that you have the choice or you want do exist as Ghost or you will be born as human or whatever.

I dont think so.

For one thing, the Bible states that we're basically just beings created from elements from the earth. When we die, the elements that our bodies are made of go their own separate ways and become part of something else ("You were made from dust. You will return to dust".)

Furthermore, I've never received any evidence of "spirits". I even transported two boxes of cremated remains from someone from my wife's family in the back of my van. Didn't feel anything at all. Didnt creep me out. Didnt feel any form of contact from the man's spirit. Nothing.

Lost several close family members over the course of my lifetime. Never received any evidence of "afterworld" contact from any of them whatsoever.

Personally after I'm gone I dont think I'd want any part of this world anymore. Time to move on.

Honestly, I'm currently bordering on being an athiest at this point of my life.

I personally believe that the "Spirit" leaves the Body at the time of death,

When My kids had asked me to explain this to them, I explained it like this....

"You're like a "Peanut in the shell" when you pass away, your lil peanut shell kinda falls off, the the "PEANUT" that's you... your Peanut goes home to heaven....

They asked "well Mom , what about the "Peanut Shell"??...I said, "When your eatin peanut's you don't much care about that shell now do you?? What you're wantin is the "PEANUT" Right??( YES MOM... )

Well my sweet babies,that's what GODS interested in "THE PEANUT"..The real you....

When My journey here is over, I can promise you that I won't care what happen's to this peanut shell, they can bury me in a hefty bag if they wanna(BUT ifn they do, were gonna have a serious talk.. )
and when I leave this world...IN the twinkling of an eye...I'll be in heaven, and the first thing I wanna do is touch the face of GOD( BUT knowin me I'll probably just fall a sobbin bawlin mess at his feet unable to speak) and the second thing I wanna do Is find my Daddy ( I've always been a Daddy's girl ) and my mother( Hopefully she'll be outta Remedial 101 by then ) I'd like to meet the baby Brother/Sister that i would have had ( Miscarriage ) and then the rest of my family that's left my life for now...

I hear that Harry Houdini once said that when he dies, he would perform the ultimate magic trick and come back from the dead.

When he died, his wife supposedly held seances repeatedly in order to attempt to contact him from the grave. She did this on the anniversary of his death every year. After doing this for ten years she stopped. She said, "Ten years is too long to wait for any man".

I've never been to my Daddy's grave.....Is it because I can't take it...no...It's because he's not there,

On the Day that he left my life, my middle brother and I were the 2 of his 5 children that weren't at his bedside....AT the time that he passed ( and Ihad no way of knowin what time he passed until my family arrived at my house that it was a Little after 2:00 Pm....) it was just a little after 2:00 Pm that I felt his presence outside my kitchen window..I didn't see him, there was no voice....there was just his presence and a sence of peace....letting me know just like always that everything is OK and that he's fine....no sky rockets, no choir of angel's..no angel wings..no bright light..just a moment in time between an daughter and the greatest man she ever knew.

The dead don't wanna come back...I know when my journeys over here I don't wanna come back here.

MissPlaced, if you believe the Bible there are many more people than Lazarus who rose from the dead.

These include:
The son of the widow of Zarephath, 1 Kings 17
The man thrown into Elisha's tomb, 2 Kings 13
The Daughter of Jairus, Mark 5, Luke 8
Eutychus, Acts 20
And of course Jesus

You Sir are correct....as I was typin that I knew that there were more i just couldn't think of them at the time...so i took the easy way out and went with Lazarus..I just knew I was gonna be called on that one...
