You shot that?!!!!!?!?!?! That's great getting lightning in there...I've spent a good many hours and perhaps hundreds (close to 1,000) pictures trying to capture lightning....never got a single one of them to turn out. I figure I had better stick to things that are easier to photograph...like my driveway or something hysterical.gif

Great shot BTW! thumbup.gif

Thanks, Steve.
It was a lucky shot.
Here's one of the cloud, before the strike, then I zoomed a little, and hit the shutter release.
Here's the image without the Taskbar:
Lightning Strike
I was shooting in Low Speed Burst mode (2 pics/sec, 4 pics max), and I got that one on the 3rd exposure.

Fantastic shots! I can't believe how lucky (not meant to be an insult) you are to capture that at only 2/fps! I've shot with film at 4 frames per second using a power winder and a 36 frame roll of film......and didn't get squat (hard to guess when lightning is going to strike and where!). That was expensive to develope (and the wife was rather ticked...buncha shots of black night time)....LOL!

The color is just incredible too! If a photo job opens up here, I'll let you know! dance.gif

Yes, those are great shots! But, what happened to the bottoms of the photos? Did you forget to turn the flash on................................................. hysterical.gif KIDDING! I get that all the time when I do a silohette shot, so I figured I'd share the "fun"! LOL! I've even been accused of lying when I told someone that it was a silohette shot!
