At this moment, I consider Portal to be one of the best games of the season, if not of all time.

hmm...hard to say really.
simcity would fit the simulation genre. love it because of the city building, moddability, and open ended gameplay. the GTA series would fit the driving/action genre. same points as above. plus I'm always willing to take a drive around and smash stuff up then theres the RE series. despite the lack of modibility and open ended gameplay, i love it. but not nearly as much as the above two. -------------------- Case: Lian-Li PC-V2100plusII | OS: XP - 64bit | Monitors: Dual 19" Hanns-G LCDs Ram: 6 gb ddr2 | GPU: 640MB GeForce 8800GTS | Disc Drives: 16x DL dvd +/- rw HDs: 3x320gb Seagate Barracuda, 3x500GB Seagates in USB cases | Mobo: Asus P5N32-A CPU: Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 @ 2.4GHz| PSU: Coolmax 650watt |

Master of Orion 3.
This game is not looked upon favourably by people who've played MOO2, but I love it. This post has been edited by KingOfIdiocy: Apr 24 2008, 05:06 PM -------------------- Just because you're paranoid, doesn't mean they are not out to get you.

I really wanted to say the Baldur's Gate series, but I have to go with :
MAFIA - just an incredible game. Beautiful graphics, music, story, everything. The game is great at immersing the player into the role. -------------------- ![]() |
