Posted Image When posting a log please put the type of infection you have in the topic title. IE: Winfixer, Virtumonde, WinTools, WebSearch, Home Search Assistant, etc.

Hey, I was hoping someone here could help me out by just reviewing my HJT log file, try an catch anything I missed, I have some knowledge of malware removal, but will like to be more sure.

Run HijackThis!, press Scan, and put a check mark next to all these:

O18 - Protocol: ProgID - (no CLSID) - (no file)

Close all other windows and browsers, and press the Fix Checked button.

REBOOT and post a new log please.
Everyday is virus day. Do you know where your recovery CDs are ?
Did you create them yet ?

Tried getting rid of that protocol, but it looks like it' still there. Any ideas?

REBOOT into SafeMode by tapping F8 key repeatedly at bootup: Starting your computer in Safe mode

Run HijackThis!, press Scan, and put a check mark next to all these:

O18 - Protocol: ProgID - (no CLSID) - (no file)

Close all other windows and browsers, and press the Fix Checked button.

REBOOT normally and post a new log please.
Everyday is virus day. Do you know where your recovery CDs are ?

What did you remove from your computer ? Did you edit the Windows Registry ?
Everyday is virus day. Do you know where your recovery CDs are ?
Did you create them yet ?

Sorry for this delay.

Make this batch file please.

Open Notepad copy the bolded below into a new text document, save as all files --> save to your Desktop --> name the file look.bat

reg query "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\PROTOCOLS\Handler\ProgID" /S >look.txt

Double click the look.bat file and you will find on your Desktop a look.txt file. Open it and post the content please.
