Hi, everybody.
My name is Lorraine and I'm from the UK. I found you tonight when I was looking for the answer to a problem and lo and behold, it's fixed. What a fantastic forum.

I'll look forward to getting to know you all and hopefully be able to make some contributions too.

Ha, ha, Jigweed. Absolutely, most definitely. I noticed your avatar. Also love Verdi.

Have a look at what I say here, if you're interested:

Well, I am not a great Verdi fan myself, too much oom-pas, but I do like Aida on occasion. I also enjoy leider, especially Richard Strauss (not to mention his operas, especially DerRosenkavalier) and oratorios.
Have you ever listened to Jessie Norman singing Strauss's Four Last Songs?

John

Can't say I have. I'll have to 'listen' out for that.
