hi. what do you think -- can this forum help me overcome my windows inabilities? I am used to unix/linux. I have lots of troubles navagating and so on in windows -- never really got used to anything after 98, and of course everything always gets moved around and changed every revision so I'm always lost. The biggest problem of course is malware and other bits of annoying rubbish that pop up from nowhere and refuse to go back. Removal of a friends spyware was actually the source of me finding the site. How Fortuitous!
btw my name isn't actually erik, it's dan.

You will find a wealth of information here at BC, especially about malware, both in the Tutorials as well as in the forums. Naturally, don't hesitate to post about a problem or ask a question if you cannot find what you need.
Welcome to this great user community!

John
