Scarlett gave me an idea in the due course of our wildly popular Word Association game. Commenting on a comment, which is certainly allowed in these sorta threads, she said I might consider writing the Great American Novel I thought, "Oh, yeah...sure thing... but then I do post a lot..." Rather than shoot for the moon here, maybe with help... we could all contribute little pieces of what might as well be called the:

Mediocre_ _ _ _ Satisfactory_ _ _ American Bleepingcomputer Chronicles_ simply.

or, for short M_S_ ABC's

I figure it goes without sayin' the blanks would be... icro & oft ...our way, so to speak. What's basic to one might be intermediate or advanced to another. Any helpful little "OS things" or "software stuff" that ya' don't know how to describe or where it belongs would be welcome in the middle of this game.

So, what'll be first? I kinda like changin' the silly Start button to something else. Let me be the first to link to that!!

This site has literally hundreds of chapters of the ongoin' comedy of Microsoft Misunderstandings and Obscurities and how the heck was I supposed to know that?? Anyway, I appreciate you humouring me. I know the characters in this story here have said a lot more ...about a lot more & I'd feel badly if some of that information were to become hard to find right when it would be handy to have nearby just because it was said in July, not yesterday. Your game addition was a perfect example of how this game could be played. Thanks.

It is after all the target of several unsavory-type opportunists.

There are fun things to know about it, though.
