When posting your problem, do not run and post a ComboFix log. ComboFix is a tool that should only be run under the supervision of someone who has been trained in its use. Using it on your own can cause problems with your computer. Any posts containing CF Logs will be ignored.

To receive help, you should instead provide a detailed description of your problem, detailed word-for-word error messages that you are receiving, screenshots of strange behaviour, and your operating system. This information is much more useful to our helpers than a ComboFix log.

If you have not received help after three days, please post a link to your topic HERE.

If i do a search, and click on a link, I get redirected to a search engine or ebay with some part of the text in that programs search function. If i go back and click on the link i am still redirected. the third time it goes to the correct place.

I have run spyware fighter, a free active x on line spyware scan, stinger, adaware, Mcafee, Microsoft antispyware and AVG

I have downloaded spybot but have heard it causes problem with my yourlink connection (wireless FM, I live in the country).

Every second night or so the microsoft antispyware picks up trojan.backdoor.small.fb

it all started when something shut down my mcafee and loaded unspypc without my knowledge. When I realized it was happening it was too late to stop. I don't think it has been cleaned properly.

I suggest you post a HijackThis log for examination.
A member of the HijackThis Team will walk you through, step by step, how to disinfect your computer.

Read How to post a HijackThis Log.
Please read, and follow, all directions carefully!!!

Then, run a log, and post it in the HijackThis forum, at this link. Do not, fix anything, yet.
A member, of the HJT Team, will help you out.
It may take a while to get a response, because the HJT Team are very busy. Please, be patient, these people are volunteers. They will help you out, as soon as possible.

NOTE:
Once you have made the post, please, DO NOT make another post in the HJT forum, until it has been responded to by a member of the HJT Team. The first thing they look for, when looking for logs to reply to, is 0 replies. If you make another post, there will be 1 reply. The team member, glancing over the replies, might assume someone is already helping you out, and will not respond. So, just make your post, and let it sit there, until a team member responds. This way you will be taken care of, in the most timely manner.

I am also having the same problem. I have done many searches, but unfortunately most of the time I get redirected, so haven't yet come up with a fix for this. Do I need to start my own, or can I use this to add my HJT log to the many that are in line for help?

Thanks for any info or help!!
