I second the vote on leaving your computer on all the time, and turning it off manually on a schedule.
I leave mine on all the time, except for one day, and just turn off the monitors when I am away for a while, or at night. On a schedule, I will restart the computer in Safe Mode, run a few cleaning programs, then leave it off for about 5 hours or overnight. Maybe the time is a little much, but I do it when I know I will not be using it for a while. On the BB Code, maybe this will help: To have this sentence in bold, you can do it different ways: You can highlight the text by dragging your mouse from one end to the other, then while it is highlighted, you can click the button (B for bold), or change a setting in a drop down list (color), and it will open and close the tag for you automatically. You can also manually type in the coding by using "[(code)]" to start and "[/(code)]" to end it. Using either method, on your screen, it will look like this: CODE [bold]To have this sentence in bold[/bold] Notice that for every tag that you have opened, you have to close them with the "[/(code)]" tag. If you think of the first one as starting the code, and the other one as ending the code, then you will understand why you need both. Clicking Preview post will show you what it will look like before you post it. With the preview, you can make as many changes as you need before it is sent. -------------------- We are all curious like a cat. We wonder, we ask, we learn.
