Msmpeng And Msascui And ... MS Defender Beta, MS Antispyware Beta and McAfee

With system Idle can watch and hear system processes...so checked and seem to be running spikes in
MsMpEng and MSASCui processes.

Can someone confirm identity of MsMpEng process?

Pretty sure this is a Microsoft Windows Defender file.
