Ok I am a tech myself, but I have been given this error message to try to figure out for someone, but they won't bring in the pc to actually let me work on it. this person just reloaded windows 98 and I believe that this has to do with him not having the proper drivers for certain devices on his computer and that is why he gets these errors, but maybe I am wrong. I will list out the errors and let you guys give your opinions on what is going on.

1. Cannot find the Device file that amy be needed to run windows or a windows application

2. The windows registry or SYSTEM.o this device file, but the device file no longer exists VNETSUP.VXD, VREDIR.VXD, AND DFS.VXD

3. WINDOWS NETWORKING unables to load the dynamic link library MSNP32.dll the system cannot find the file specified.

Thanks in advance for all the help.

most probably they have improperly installed windows networking, just tell them to re install their nic drivers and reconfigure networking.

bye.
