Whenever I try to get system information the following pops up in an Illegal Operation message box.

MSINFO32 caused an invalid page fault in
module KERNEL32.DLL at 016f:bff886d4.

Can someone please tell me what I am missing to get this to run? Thanks

Hi Dar,

I found this on Microsoft's Knowledgebase:

MS KB article

The X's at the end of the error are wildcards...

Hope this helps.

Thanks so much for that link. I must not be searching for the right thing. When I did a search on the Microsoft site I did not get anything that applied to my problem.

Now all I have to do is go to my storage and find my win 98 CD hahahaha

I can't wait to get back to my own computer. But I might as well fix this one while I am here watching the little rugrats.

Thanks again.

You are welcome Dar. Sometimes Microsoft's Knowledgebase can be a bear to search through. Glad we could help.

Good luck!
