Ad-awere No Longer Will Operate ?

Am Running Windows 98 and have been a user of Ad-Aware SE.

Found This forum from Google originally to find fix for these errors that occur on Start-Up:

E6F1873B.DLL
PTMGLV.DLL
IPHLPAPI.DLL

Began the following:
- Ran - cleanmgr, cleaned out temporary internet files and temp file
- Then tried to run Ad-Aware SE, error occurred:
"Adware caused an initial page default in module KERNEL32.DLL at 017f:bff714ac"

Currently I am unable to run Ad-Aware to proced to the next steps to eliminate malware or spyware on this computer.

Any help would be appreciative....

Have you tried to uninstall the re install adaware?It may solve your problem.

I would recommend following this post : Start Here

It has great information for removing spyware, and if needed posting a HJT log. Since AdAware is having problems, an HJT post may be needed.
