Just a short comment about Spybot. It worked wonders on my Spywarequake and Malware infestations. I'm
running Windows XP Pro and am unfamiliar with it and hit a site where I was suddenly flooded with the stuff.
Ran my Adaware and was told they were removed, but they had just buried themselves deeper. They even hijacked my home page, so I found a way to sneak around that and went desparation shopping. I tried a few solutions and it was disastrous, it made it worse! I finally found Bleeping Computer, read the warning about Spywarequake, followed the instructions and like a miracle, my problem was solved.Spybot may not work for everyone(I can't imagine that, frankly)but it was a Godsend for me. I can't say thank you enough.

I succesfully reomved Spyware Quake! Thanks a lot. But I still have the Wheelchair icon in my system tray and I get the "Your computer is infected!" message. Can anyone help? I couldn't find the stickrep.dll, suprox.dll, and xenadot.dll files.

For all those people who cant get rid of the taskbar alerts, please do the following:
Please download the following file and save it to your desktop:
getsts.exe
Once it has downloaded, please double-click on the file, which should now be on your desktop. When the program is finished, it will create a text file on your desktop called getsts.txt and open it in notepad.
Please post the contents of this notepad as a reply to this topic.
