Make sure you have up-to-date anti-spyware, as "adult sites" are a notorious way in for the nasties. Install SpywareBlaster and IESpyad to prevent access to hundreds of unsavoury sites. Make sure your AV and firewall are up to date and running properly.
Don't try to "catch him out" - many, if not most guys are fascinated by material that we ladies might find a bit unsavoury or just plain boring. (sorry, fellers) It doesn't necessarily mean there is anything amiss with our relationships - men and women just think differently on a very biological level. Spying and lying, as Jacee said, shouldn't form part of a good relationship. Talk to each other! Luci2a
