I understand the reluctance to allowing "file attachments" with a posting. If this is allowed anything can be attached and big trouble can ensue. I can deal with this--I am not a troll or poster of porno. Yet, I go to the "test and scribble forum" and the ability to attach is there? I guess then I will start posting my porno pics on this "test and scribble forum". I would, except I am not a troll!!!--very confused-so, what else is new? :flowers:

I can understand your confusion.

I can tell you that all attachments are scanned for viruses by BC's server prior to it appearing. Also, if I am not mistaken, all attachments get personal attention when posted to assure that it follows the board's guidelines.

I will be willing to bet that Grinler could tell you better details.

Actually hate to say it, but the attachments are not virus scanned. No way that I know of doing that with the software. All the other downloads that we have available are certified as good though.

I will remove attachment uploading to that forum. Wasnt supposed to be there

What I am getting at is not viruses, but this: If someone were to upload a picture of a minor which is deemed porno (no clothing etc.) then the keeper of this BB can be prosecuted under recent federal law concerning "kiddie porn" even if that pic only stays there a short period time. We sure don't want that-(Grinler in Fed Jail with Martha). Anyhow my 2 cents--next subject :flowers:

Agreed, but the reality is the feds would not come after me but rather the person who posted it and I would share the information that would be required to prosecute them in a second.
