Not really sure where I should post this but thought this would be better then nowhere.

I have read the Windows Vista forum and have figured out that we have to subscribe to MSDN. Just trying to figure out what the hell is MSDN. I know it isn't free just curious here...

It's very expensive - I got a TechNet subscription and when I saw the price I nearly fainted! Thank goodness I didn't have to pay for it myself!

So basically it's a place where you get developer tools to develop software?

Yes, but not only that.

Each month I get a bunch of DVD's with software and information on them - that's a whole bunch of stuff to sort through!
