When resume is pressed it beeps and says OS not found When setup is pressed it goes into the BIOS setup and askes for a password. Do i have to get into the BIOS and change what boots first for it to read the disk? I understand the only way to reset CMOS is to take out the battery and wait for the CMOS to reset, right? I'm confused..........never had this problem please help! |

He probabily wiped the drive and removed the partition. You have several options here. One is go to http://www.bootdisk.com and download the bootdisk so you can fdisk and partition the drive. Then Fedora should boot at that point. Second, and my favorite is use Digtal Dolly to partition and format your hard drive. If you think the drive may be damage Digtal Dolly has S.M.A.R.T. UTILITY to test the drive.
