When posting your problem, do not run and post a ComboFix log. ComboFix is a tool that should only be run under the supervision of someone who has been trained in its use. Using it on your own can cause problems with your computer. Any posts containing CF Logs will be ignored.

To receive help, you should instead provide a detailed description of your problem, detailed word-for-word error messages that you are receiving, screenshots of strange behaviour, and your operating system. This information is much more useful to our helpers than a ComboFix log.

Hey smithy_23

That message is actually a fake message - however you are infected. This is one of the messages that the Troj/AdClick-BC Trojan horse can display:

Quote

'Urgent System Message: Virus!
Your computer was infected with last version of internet worm (iworm_attck_v122.02a). It is highly recommended that you install antivirus software.
Click the icon for more information.'

Troj/AdClick-BC is usually located with the filename msole32.exe. I think it would be wise for you to post a HijackThis log for an expert to review.

I recommend you follow the HijackThis preparation guide which can be found here. It is important that you follow the guide closely. A number of scans will be run which may well fix your problem.

As the guide says, after you have completed the scans that are recommended, please post your "HijackThis" log in a new topic in the forum found here. Please add your system infomation and also what problems you are having. Please be patient, and a HJT team member will help you to clean up your system

David
