How to Restore a File from the Recycle Bin


Guide Overview

The purpose of this guide is to teach you how to restore a file that you may have accidentally deleted.

How to Restore a File from the Recycle Bin

Tools Needed
  • No tools needed.
Instructions
  1. Please double click on the recycle bin on your desktop. It looks like this:
  2. The Recycle bin window will then appear which will display all the files you have deleted.
  3. Click on the file you wish to restore.
  4. Click the "Restore this Item" button on the left hand panel.
  5. The file will then disappear from the recycle bin, and will return to its original location.
