Dell Dimension Update graphics card assistance

Hi, I have a Dell Dimension E520 I am currently fixing. I am trying to update the graphics card i have install a Nvidia 9400 GT. When i go to install the drivers it says it cannot detect the graphics card but, I am currently using it and it displays video. Please help

How do you update graphics card driver and do you need to update it? Is there an available update however?

Why...are you trying to update the drivers...if it works properly?
