Hi again and thank you for all your help.

I am sorry for the confusion, but as I stated in the beginning I have followed all the steps they told me to when I posted in the forum about Malware etc. That is why I posted again here. So far you are the only one who has helped me, so I hope I do not have to start over again. I have scanned my computer with about ten different programs and nothing is showing up as a virus at this time.

I am able to drag and drop now most of the time, but sometimes the files stack up behind the folder I am trying to move them to. See attached image.
I am still not able to install Google Chrome. It says it has installed but when I search for the icon or the program folder nothing is there.

Internet Explorer will not run either.

Please let me know if you can help or what I need to do now. I appreciate all your time. Thanks again.

I'm still here. :)

Let me read through this thread again this evening to refresh my memory and then I'll see what I can suggest.

I'm sorry, I just looked and I guess I did not finish all the steps I was supposed to because I don't remember doing a gmer log.. I guess I should try to do all that and then see what happens. Sorry I guess I have had so much on my mind I forgot what I was doing, lol.

No problem, I think that it might find something.

In a previous post I said...

... That means more keys than the ones we checked have probably been deleted. Especially if it was a result of cleaning CLSID's with ole32.dll as the in-process server (there are about a dozen of those)...

and the picture you posted of the icons stacking up are exactly what you would see if those other keys were deleted.

Even if GMER finds nothing, please continue following Cryptodan's instructions and post in the Virus, Trojan, Spyware, and Malware Removal Logs subforum with the logs it says to post in those instructions. Once you go through there and they say you are clean, see if you still have issues and if you do, come back here and paste a link to the thread that you made with the Malware Technician and let me know what problems you are still having.

That way, I'll see most if not all of what I need to help you finish fixing everything.

Now that your log is properly posted, you should NOT make further changes to your computer (install/uninstall programs, use special fix tools, delete files, edit the registry, etc) unless advised by a Malware Removal Team member, nor should you continue to ask for help elsewhere. Doing so can result in system changes which may not show it the log you already posted. Further, any modifications you make on your own may cause confusion for the helper assisting you and could complicate the malware removal process which would extend the time it takes to clean your computer.

From this point on the Malware Removal Team should be the only members that you take advice from, until they have verified your log as clean.

Please be patient. It may take a while to get a response because the Malware Removal Team members are very busy working logs posted before yours. They are volunteers who will help you out as soon as possible. Once you have made your post and are waiting, please DO NOT make another reply until it has been responded to by a member of the Malware Removal Team. Generally the staff checks the forum for postings that have 0 replies as this makes it easier for them to identify those who have not been helped. If you post another response there will be 1 reply. A team member, looking for a new log to work may assume another MRL Team member is already assisting you and not open the thread to respond.

The current wait time is 1 - 5 days and ALL logs are answered.

To avoid confusion, I am closing this topic.
