It ONLY costs 9 bucks to feed your family at McDonald's today??????

Last time we went there, it cost 18 dollars! :o
People do dumb things. And I'm not talking about paying too much for car insurance either.

Thanks for the link MissPlaced... . If I was the dad, I won't count the penny I spent for the upgrade of the Laptop but spend the time to talk with her in a peace manner with regards to the situation. I'm a dad of 2 actually and my eldest is now 2 years old. As parent, I can feel and sense that she's diciplined by me properly. I know for sure that changes occur during teenage stage with the influence of other people and fellow teenagers :gathering: but as long as I can, I'll make sure that she'll walk in the right path.

I find it unnecessary to shoot the laptop, that was pretty much extreme to be honest. You cannot teach your child to value a hard-earned cash you used to pay for all their wants and at the same time disposing an that same expensive laptop just to make a point. I find it contradicting, if you ask me. I'm not against disciplining defiant teens but I guess there are other ways we can show our kids that they're wrong without possibly provoking or teaching any means of violence.
